1.1 The competition is open to all Citizens and Permanent Residents of India.
1.2 Images that have won prizes in prior competitions, or have been used for commercial
purposes and/or been published will not be eligible.
1.3 The theme for the photography competition is “Ayurveda – Life in tune with nature”
1.4 There is no entry fee.
2. SUBMISSION OF ENTRIES
2.1 Submitted images should be in JPEG format and at least 2000 pixels wide for a horizontal image or 2000 pixels tall for a vertical image.
2.2 Each participant can submit maximum of three photographs for the competition.
2.3 Digital manipulation that distorts the reality of the images will not be allowed. Only basic enhancements such as sharpening, contrast adjustment, or simple cropping will be allowed.
2.4 The organizer reserves the right to reject images with incomplete details required
under the photo submission page. The submission deadline is 05 MARCH 2021 before

2.6 Participants are entirely responsible for all entry-related costs.

2.8 Participants are to name the Subject of the email as ‘Photo Competition – Fourth Global Ayurveda Festival’. Participants may also use third party file transfer clients like WeTransfer or Dropbox.
3. COPYRIGHT/INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
3.1 Each image submitted must be the original and unpublished work of the participant
who must also be its copyright owner.
3.2 The participant shall retain copyright to the image entered for the competition.
3.3 By submitting images for the competition to email@example.com the participant will be regarded as having granted the organizer the right to use the image in print broadcast and /or electronic media without any fee payment, for the purposes of promoting the competition or areas related to the organiser’s work.
3.4 Images received by the organizer through the competition will not be used by the organizer for commercial purposes.
3.5. CISSA may use the photographs for awareness/education purpose and acknowledge photographer.
4.1 Prizes are non-transferrable and non-exchangeable for cash or in kind.
4.2 The organizer reserves the right to change or replace the competition prizes and /or modify the rules and regulations of the competition as and when necessary, without prior notice.
4.3 A cash prize or Rs. 10,000/- will be awarded to the winner, Rs. 8000/- for 2nd prize & Rs. 5000/- for 3rd prize.
4.4 Photographs of the shortlisted participants will be displayed in the Virtual Photo Exhibition of Fourth Global Ayurveda Festival.
5. JUDGING AND RESULTS
5.1 The images will be selected by a panel of judges and their decision is final. No correspondence pertaining to the selection process and decision will be entertained. The process is confidential.
5.2 The judging panel reserves the right not to award the prizes if the images submitted do not meet the requirements stated in this document.
5.3 The winners of the competition will be informed over email.
6. ACCEPTANCE OF RULES AND REGULATIONS
6.1 By submitting an image for the competition, the participant will be regarded as having accepted and agreed to be bound by the rules and regulations of the competition.
